How can teachers and school leaders improve their capacities so that each child can learn and develop to his/her best? This was the main question guiding the planning workshop that took place on Friday February 17, 2017 in Quang Ngai City.

VVOB’s new 2017-2021 programme aims to mitigate preschool children’s barriers to learning. The programme will be implemented in disadvantaged and ethnically diverse districts in Central Viet Nam. For five years, our team will work together with the Departments and Bureaus of Education and Training of Kon Tum, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai.

Gathering about 50 participants coming from Kon Tum, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Da Nang and Ha Noi this was a moment for everyone to reflect together about the professional capacities that need to be developed in 2017. Several stakeholders were represented during the workshop: the Early Childhood Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Training, the National College of Education, Departments and Bureaus of Education and Training, school leaders and teachers, Plan Vietnam and Live & Learn. All shared their needs and ideas.

VVOB would like to thanks all attendees for their presence.
