The manual on ‘Contract Work’ supports a two-day training on contract work for teachers and teacher trainers which enables them to understand the basic characteristics of contract work in the context of experiential education and to apply it to their teaching.
The manual was developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuyet Nga from the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences (VNIES), in cooperation with Ms. Leen Pil from the Centre for Experiential Education (CEGO, University of Leuven (Belgium)), the 25 members of the methodology core group (didactics and methodology experts from VVOB’s 5 partner institutes) and the coordinators of VVOB’s teacher training programme.
The module is part of the Active Teaching and Learning (ATL) Teacher Training Package and follows on the module on Learning Stations which also introduces some experiential education concepts and methods. Other modules are: Problem-Based Learning, ICT for ATL, E-Learning and, Assessment and Evaluation of ATL (upcoming). All these modules can also be downloaded from this website.
