Objectives:
- Exchange ideas on concepts of transition from kindergarten to primary schools;
- Share and understand current practices of transition from kindergarten to primary in Vietnam, based on existing practices including from iNGOs;
- Identify the roles of parents, teachers and school leaders of children in the transition process;
- Discuss about direction on ATL teaching pedagogies in pre-schools and primary schools in transition period;
Participants:
- Reprepsentatives of DOETs, BOETs, Kindergartens and Primary schools;
- Representatives from 4 TTIs;
- Representatives from Vietnam Women's Union and Provincial Woman’s Union;
- Early Education experts from MOET, VNIES, NIEM, HNUE, Hanoi Pedagogical University No 2, Hanoi TTI.
- Practitioners from INGOs including Plan Vietnam, World Vision, UNICEF
