On the occasion of World AIDS Day events which will be organized at teacher training institutes in Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai on 4 December 2010, VVOB developed a brochure with information and advocacy messages on HIV.
The brochure contains information on the HIV epidemic in Vietnam, gives complete and unbiased prevention information, calls for supportive behaviors towards people and children living with HIV and explains the role of schools and teachers in the HIV response.
10,000 copies of the Vietnamese version of this brochure will be distributed to student teachers. The brochure addresses them both as being young people and as future teachers.
