The Vietnamese Women's Union (VWU) in collaboration with VVOB Vietnam organized a ToT workshop on life skills for adolescents (from Feb 21 to Feb 23, 2012). Participants were for key persons of 11 provinces (5 under the VVOB Programme, 6 under VWU's National Scheme 704).

This activity fits in the MoU that was signed earlier between VWU and VVOB, and is part of the effort of VVOB to support VWU in Scheme 704 that aims to build capacity on parenting skills for at least 5 million mothers. The focus of VVOB Vietnam is on ATL and social participation.

Facilitators of the VWU and VVOB guided this workshop and introduced materials developed by the two organizations on 12 themes related to child rearing and education. The participants practiced using these materials and received feedback from trainer and colleagues.

Provinces from the South of Vietnam will participate in a second ToT workshop in March.
